MediLodge receives birthday wishes 1,104 times over

Last week the staff of MediLodge of Sterling set out to collect 102 birthday cards for Eleanor Wenner in honor of her 102nd birthday.

The support was overwhelming, as 1,104 cards were sent to Eleanor, some pictured on the right.

At her party on July 14, Eleanor was set in a “princess” chair (left) with 102 balloons attached.

Cards were received from elected officials and even several foreign countries, including Finland, Ireland and Iraq.
