Man injured in motorcycle accident dies


SAGINAW — Archie “Dutch” Clark III was taken off of life support June 28. He was hospitalized for more than a week prior to being taken off of life support after suffering a head injury in a motorcycle accident June 18.

Clark, 51, of Prescott, was reportedly traveling eastbound on Maple Ridge Road in Moffatt Township on a Harley-Davidson motorcycle around 10 p.m. when a deer reportedly ran into the roadway, colliding with the motorcycle.

Clark was transported to St. Mary’s of Michigan Standish Hospital via MMR and then transferred to Saginaw St. Mary’s, where he remained on life support until Saturday.
