Large crowd joins veterans at Alger Cemetery for Memorial Day ritual

Many people gathered at the Alger Cemetery Monday, May 26, to join members of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and the VFW Ladies Auxiliary during a Memorial Day ceremony. The event included lowering the American flag and then raising it to half mast, the playing of Taps and a rifle salute. Prior to the ceremony, Bikers 4 Kids provided guests with coffee and donuts.
