TAWAS AREA — Unbeaten Tawas Area opened the New Year with a 21-6 first quarter explosion and never looked back Friday as the Braves beat Whittemore-Prescott 74-28 in an NEMC girls’ basketball contest.
All nine Braves who played scored, but the Cardinals simply had no answer for Tawas center Rachel Adaline, who had 13 points in the first half and finished with 21.
