Kimball waives circuit court arraignment
STANDISH — Dr. Jeffrey Kimball, a Standish chiropractor charged with public utility fraud more than $500, waived his Jan. 8 arraignment in 23rd Circuit Court.
According to information from circuit court, Kimball is alleged to have prevented the city of Standish’s water meter at his home from duly registering the quantity of water used, or to have interfered with the proper registration of water usage from March 1, 2013 through Sept. 30, 2013.
Public utility fraudulent use over $500 is a felony punishable by a maximum sentence of four years in jail or $5,000.
Circuit court administrators said Kimball will appear in court next for a pretrial conference, which has not yet been scheduled.
