The Vietnam Veterans Chapter 390 hosted its annual Easter egg hunt at the Deep River Township Park in chilly yet sunny conditions April 19. Children were divided into four age groups and after a siren sounded in a Sterling Area Fire Department truck, the dash to scoop up eggs was on. Four children —one per age group — got an especially special treat in their eggs, a slip letting them know they won a bike.
