Hurons too much for WP

ROGERS CITY — Whittemore-Prescott's fell into an early hole and could never dig out in their Class C district semifinal game on Wednesday, falling 67-38 to Rogers City.
The Hurons took a 15-5 lead after one quarter and expanded it to 28-15 at the half, then put the game away with a big third quarter run.
The Cardinals scored 21 of their 38 points on 3-pointers.
Chris Downes led W-P (2-19) with 13 points, with Billy Raushi adding nine and Kevin Dupuis six.
Justin Idalski scored 14 for Rogers City (8-14), which travels to Hale for Friday's district championship game.
