-The Detroit Free Press is reporting additional details about the man in New York that killed two firefighters and injured two more after reportedly setting out on a quest to burn down his neighborhood.

-The Detroit News has an opinion piece about just how much money could be lost in the current lockout of the National Hockey League.

-Fox News reports that actor Ben Affleck has said he will not run for U.S. Senate to replace Sen. John Kerry.

-And the Detroit Free Press reports that a huge snowstorm is heading east after spawning deadly tornadoes in the south, and could bring three to six inches of snow to Metro Detroit.
