Ten former baseball players from the area were inducted into the Northeast Michigan Baseball League Hall of Fame during the league's annual reunion July 20 in Omer. The reunion, which was held at the Ye Olde Courthouse, recognized the new hall of fame class, as well as past inductees. Nominations were also taken for players to be inducted during next year's reunion, lunch was served and 50-50 drawings were held.
