WHITTEMORE — John Glenn's Lauren Bluhm scored 27 points -- including 11 during a 25-3 run in the third quarter -- as the Bobcats evened their NEMC mark at 2-2 with a 76-24 girls’ basketball defeat of Whittemore-Prescott.

The Cardinals trailed 15-9 after one quarter as Cortney Bork put up seven early points. Glenn built its lead up to 36-17 at the half, but the game could have been closer if not for W-P missing nine of 13 free throws in the second quarter. The Cardinals also gave up nearly as many turnovers (39) as they had shot attempts (44).

Bork finished with 14 points and seven rebounds to lead the Cards (1-11, 0-4 NEMC). Jessica Dietzel and Cory Durham each added six rebounds.
