Fourth of July travelers clog area roads

ARENAC COUNTY — Traffic was backed up for miles and miles in and around Arenac and surrounding counties in Mid-Michigan, as the Fourth of July travelers hit the road after the weekend.
A car and motorcycle accident, happened on I-75 just south of the Worth Rd. overpass.
Injuries from the accident were non-life threatening according to Michigan State Police Sgt. Ron Taylor.
Traffic was backed up all the way past the M-61 exit, just outside of Standish.
There also was a reported accident according to Taylor in Alger at the intersection of M-33 and Maple Ridge Road.
It is not known if there are any injuries.
