Fine arts camp returns to NEMAC Aug. 3-7


STANDISH — Teenagers interested in drawing, painting and other art forms can have a chance to hone their skills at the Northeast Michigan Arts Council the week of Aug. 3-7 at the Standish-Sterling Central High School.

The camp, co-sponsored by NEMAC and Standish-Sterling Community Education, is for students aged 14 to 17 and runs daily from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Tuition for the camp is $30 for NEMAC members and $35 for non-members. It includes class supplies and instruction for the program, which is partially underwritten by the Michigan Council for Arts and Cultural Affairs.
