WHITTEMORE — Ogemaw Heights won its fourth straight game after an 0-3 start, running up a 22-3 first quarter lead on the way to defeating Whittemore-Prescott 70-45 on Friday.

The teams played even at 26-26 through the middle quarters, but it wasn't nearly enough to get the Cardinals back in the game.

Anthony Zettel and Alex Rose each scored 14 points to lead the Falcons, who had all 12 players score in the contest. Zettel tallied his third double-double of the season and Rose punctuated the victory with a a dunk. Zettel had eight points while Justin Wejsa, Jarritt Orlando, Eric Noble and Jason Immel all had 3-pointers during the Falcons' first quarter run.

Orlando finished with nine points as Ogemaw improved to 4-3 (2-2 NEMC).

Billy Raushi led Whittemore-Prescott (2-8, 0-3) with 14 points and Tristan Kohlhoff added 11.
