ATLANTA — Atlanta had three players score in double figures Friday against Arenac Eastern to power the Huskies to a 61-50 victory over the Eagles.
"It was the same old story," said AE coach Bob Morgan. "We always seem to play just below our competition."
The Eagles shot just 16-of-61 from the floor and suffered from the turnover bug.
Atlanta (3-7, 2-5 North Star League) built a 31-20 halftime lead and extended it from there. Kevin Haren continued his high-scoring ways with 20 points, while Lucas Eising added 13 and Rick Voss 11.
Graham Morgan led AE (1-9, 0-6) with 17 points and 18 rebounds. Sean Norton had 14 points, and Brad King added 11 rebounds, all in the first half.
