Eagle spikers pull out win over Fairview


TWINING -- Arenac Eastern's volleyball team overcame a 2-1 deficit to down North Star League rival Fairview 3-2 in a five-game match Thursday, Sept. 17.

The Eagles took the first game 28-26, lost the next two by scores of 25-21 and 25-18, then rallied back to win the final two by scores of 25-22 and 15-11.

"The girls got their heads back into the game and won three out of five games," AE coach Heather Neil said.

Erin Ecker had five kills and 41 assists for the winners, Tiffany Miracle served eight aces, Kaylee Wilson had nine assistss, and Heather Norton chipped in three digs.
