Eagle V-ballers swept Owendale-Gagetown


TWINING -- Arenac Eastern had a difficult with serve receiving and as a result dropped three straight games to Owendale-Gagetown in high school volleyball Tuesday, Sept. 1.

"We came up against a very strong serving team, and we are (still) learning how to receive," AE coach Hannah Neil said.

The Eagles lost the match by scores of 25-8, 25-16, 25-12. Erin Ecker had two kills and 19 assists for the Eagles, Kaylee Wilson 14 assists, Heather Norton 1 kill and 14 asissts, Sara Wenkel 11 assists, and Maddie Forshee and Courtney Pasnik each nine assists.
