Decision on SSCS superintendent expected Thursday

STANDISH — A decision by the board of education is expected on who will become the next superintendent of the Standish-Sterling Community School District.

The board will hold a special meeting on Thursday, Aug. 25 at 7:30 a.m. at the Standish-Sterling Community Education Building, located next to Standish-Sterling Middle School.

Finalaist Jerry Jennex, superintendent of Capac Community Schools and Darren Kroczaleski, superintendent of Pinconning Area Schools interviewed for the position Tuesday evening.

Check back Thursday following the meeting to see the board’s decision.
