Caring Bear Picnic was held at SMMSH from 11 - 2

STANDISH — St. Mary's of Michigan Standish Hospital (SMMSHheld its annual Caring Bear Picnic from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on June 18 just outside of the hospital.

By noon, over 90 children had attended the picnic, which had several activity stations in which they were educated one way or another. Included amongst the stations were face painting, games, food, clowns, races and more.

There wasn't a major activity planned this year, as there usually is, however, SMMSH Community Relations Director Holly Bender says they will probably plan something for next year.

Several doctors, nurses and other staff, as well as several volunteers in the form of friends, family and other community members, manned the stations.

Below are a few videos from the picnic.
