At least one injured in M-61 accident

GIBSON TWP. — An accident on M-61 near 11 Mile Road Wednesday, Sept. 12 at approximately 4:40 p.m. reportedly left at least one person, a minor, with a head injury.
The accident involved a car and an off-road vehicle.
The Arenac County Sheriff’s Department, Michigan State Police, and Mount Forest Fire Department were on scene, and an ambulance from MMR was dispatched to administer medical treatment to the minor. The minor was reportedly taken to Bay Medical Center.
The Michigan State Police handled the incident, according to Arenac County Undersheriff Don McIntyre. An official report is not yet complete.
