Eagles still in playoff hunt

TWINING -- Arenac Eastern led 52-12 at the half and coasted to a 70-18 victory over Akron-Fairgrove in the regular season finale for both teams Friday, Oct. 23.

The Eagles kept their post-season playoff hopes alive with the win, improving to 5-4.

They must now wait until Sunday to see if their regular season record is good enough to gain a playoff berth.

Playoff pairings will be announced Sunday by the Michigan High School Athletic Association and posted on this site sometime after 7 p.m.
