Customer Service and Classified Sales
As a former postal employee of nearly 25 years, Marsha has worked with several people over the years. Much of her experience was working with the public and providing friendly customer service.
In 1998, she left the postal service after having a very serious health condition. She stayed home and raised her and her husband’s three sons, Eric, Keith and Trevor.
Marsha and her husband, Ray, have been happily married for 33 years, have a wonderful daughter-in-law, Maureen, and their first grandchild. He’s another baby Karbow, Grady Michael Karbowski, and an absolute doll.
Marsha started working part time for the Arenac County Independent in May 2013. She said she finds it interesting and it amazes her how the paper fits together like a puzzle.
“For those of you who know me, I still love old classic country music and occasionally pull out my guitar, play and sing for fun,” Marsha said.
Her greatest joy is GIVING, she said.
