Health Care Decisions Day Presentation

April 16th is National Healthcare Decisions Day (NHDD). In honor of this day, Hospice of Helping Hands, Inc. is providing information and tools for the public to talk about their wishes with family, friends and healthcare providers, and execute written advance directives (healthcare power of attorney and living will) in accordance with Michigan state laws. Specifically, Hospice of Helping Hands will be providing a brief presentation on the importance of organizing your health information, the difference between a DPOA and living will, and empowering your health care. Following the presentation, advance directive forms will be available, as well as Hospice of Helping Hands staff to assist in explaining or completing the forms.
