Today is the one year anniversary of the death of my brother, Frank Illig. Our family misses him so much. He was a pillar of the Standish community and he was a pillar of our family. He had strength and wisdom that he shared freely with all. And, he was generous. He always took care of others.

My husband, John, and I would like to thank the Standish community for all of the love and support that we have received over the past year. My mother-in-law, Kathy Vernon, died last year too. We moved to Midland 28 years ago and it is a great community - however, the support of this small Standish community was overwhelming and is helping us to heal.
