Stupak to hold Standish town hall

STANDISH — Rep. Bart Stupak (D – Menominee) is making his way to Standish on Nov. 30 for a town hall meeting with constituents.

The meeting will be held at Standish-Sterling Central High School in the auditorium. It will run from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.

“I enjoy meeting with constituents in the district to answer their questions, address concerns, and talk about the issues we are currently working on in Congress, including the health care bill passed by the U.S. House of Representatives earlier this month and the status of the Standish prison,” Stupak said. “I look forward to having a conversation in Standish on a broad range of issues and appreciate the feedback I receive not only at these town hall meetings, but also through the letters, phone calls, emails and faxes to my office.”

Signs, posters and banners will not be permitted at the town hall meeting.
