BAISD holds summer session at Pinconning Preserve

Brad Dietzel, 15, a student in Cathy LaLonde’s Natural Resource’s class at the Bay-Arenac Intermediate School District, wades into the Pinconning River, which runs through the Pinconning Nature Preserve, to find species of bugs on June 22 as part of the class’s summer work.

Cathy LaLonde's Natural Resources Class at the Bay-Arenac Intermediate School District requires students to do summer work and on June 22 the class was looking for species of bugs in the Pinconning River, which flows through the Pinconning Nature Preserve.

This is an outstanding way for students to learn conservation and biology. My compliments to MS. Cathy LaLonde for her creativity and sound judgement.
