ADAMS TWP. — A grass fire that burned nearly one acre of land Sept. 17 caused no injuries and is believed to have been caused by a fire intentionally set the day before, according to Michigan Department of Natural Resources Fire Officer Nick Wheeler. more

Flames shoot out from the roof of a home located …
ARENAC TWP. — A house fire in Arenac Township has destroyed a home at 100 Conrad Road. The fire was reported at approximately 2:30 p.m. No one was injured in the fire. On the scene of the fire were the AuGres-Sims-Whitney Fire Department, the Standish Area Fire Authority, the Omer-Arenac Fire Department, the Arenac County Sheriff’s Department, Mobile Medical Response and the Department of Natural Resources.
